PHOTOGRAPHY OF 2026

A) “DIRECT FLASH” The resurgence of the y2k Digital Camera is back. My tip: Check out your local facebook marketplace & pawnshops! I got my Canon 180 Elph for 20$ from my local Sols Pawn Shop! B) “Sensory Storytelling” Have you noticed animal print is back? but not only in clothes, in the digital world too, things like patterns, and food, campaigns with jewelry next to running yolk, or stuck to an orange.. Evoking an emotional response before the viewer has time to think- thats the goal here. C) “CATALOG x SCRAPBOOK” For your next Photoshoot campaign think... scroll stopping edits. think of poses that are unconventional for layouts that are scroll stopping. This also ties to the “digital scrapbooking” era that we are in. but that's obvious. The key is learning how to apply it to your ads, campaigns, predict launches, websites, business cards. etc. D) “CANDID MAXIMALISM” “The more the merrier” & that doesn’t just apply to your Saturday night hangouts- the more props, the more color, the more POP! thats what I am noticing in this 2026 Photography trend. While still having rules in heirarchy, angles, colors, typograpgt & more. I am noticing quirky, distorted, + wide angle shots, in the use for maximalism. The rise of the crowded, unconventional, almost effortless candid shot- & calling it a campaign.

“HUMAN FIRST, DIGITAL SECOND”

“HUMAN FIRST, DIGITAL SECOND” 1) DIGITAL SCRAPBOOK- It's your journal, but online. In digital form — your Instagram carousels, your website designs, your memes, your reels. We're in the era of walking around with a '90s digital camera in your purse, along with a USB-C adapter, just to be thatone that transfers the photos right then and there. Chef's kiss. 2) SKATE / SURG MAGAZINE: Do you remember Dogtown? The Z-Boys? Venice Beach? The raw. The grunge. The smoke. The sex. The community — all documented and put together in some of the most iconic layouts in magazine history. To this day, I pull a lot of inspiration from magazines like Thrasher, Slap, and Big Brother. 3) IMPERFECTION: Honestly, correct me if I'm wrong — but I think the era of the super curated, the overthinkers, the scripts that make you sound like a robot, is so out. The raw, the feelings, the messy, the journey, the hardships — that's what people want. I think we're so sick of seeing people on social media become successful telling us to comment "SUCCESS" on their latest post for their 6-page course on how to make it. Respectfully, f*ck that. The journey is difficult, it's lonely, it's raw, and it's literally inevitable. 4) SENSORY SCRIBBLES: Whether it's through digital scrapbooking, animal print, or one of my favorites — digital UI effects that remind you of an iPhone, or website effects that make you feel like you're actually interacting with items on the screen — the more you make someone feel with their five senses, you won. Use something like this for your next ad campaign. Let's say you're a real estate agent: record yourself throwing an egg at a house, then cut the video right before it smacks — to you naming the price and saying "jokes on you for missing out, this just sold" — then give the tour. Hook, line, and sinker. It shows social proof, and it's different. Be different.

FASHION OF 2026 This spring is all about finding out what works for you!

Don't get discouraged when you see trends changing — you don't need a whole new wardrobe, I promise. There are so many ways to style what you already have. And these trends? They fluctuate, they come back. I NEVER thought I'd say it, but capris are back — the same style I swore off is now tied to that "cool," effortless, curvy girl aesthetic. Here are 6 trends I've noticed are having a serious "chic" moment amongst today's creators, movie stars, and influencers. Adapt to whatever calls to you! 1. FLATS 2. DRESS OVER PANTS / FLOWY SKIRT 3. 10 LAYER METHOD 4.ELEVATED BASICS 5. TRANSPERANT TOP 6. LACE AND LACEY DETAILS
